With an aim to reduce environmental degradation and to offer continuous employment to individuals from socially and economically disadvantaged groups, Pariustham manages our Solid Waste Management projects, closely working with the local Government bodies and the community.
A post graduate in Social Work, Parisutham, has more than a decade of experience in the development sector with specialization in training, solid waste management, community mobilization and documentation.
A trained yoga teacher, he has travelled extensively throughout the State and conducted rejuvenation programmes for the rural masses and programmes for life term prisoners in the central prisons of Tamil Nadu. In the aftermath of the 2006 tsunami he played an active role in implementing livelihood and waste management projects for UNICEF and Give2Asia projects for the rehabilitation of Tsunami victims.
He has attended various training programmes by many international organizations like SWECO and ‘Keep Sweden Tidy’ in Sweden, and UNICEF in Pune.
