Hand in Hand Micro Finance Private Limited and the Asian Institute of Technology have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to jointly work towards sustainable development in the poorer regions of Cambodia. The partnership, under the umbrella of Wetlands Alliance, is committed to create new and innovative poverty focused development initiatives in the region. The interventions are supposed to start in the economically backward Kratie and Stung Treng. Hand in Hand India hopes to bring in its Self-Help Group & Microfinance Programme here and support about 70 self-help groups a year.
