Community Drinking Water Programme

The Community Drinking Water Programme helps in conserving the rainwater and thereby augments the sources of drinking water in villages. Rainwater harvesting helps to raise groundwater levels and provides drinking water, water for domestic usage, water for livestock, and water for irrigation. It is mainly done by digging ponds, lakes and tanks, trenches, constructing bunds, and masonry structures like check dams and weirs.

Our community drinking water projects have catered to the drinking water needs of a population of more than fifteen thousand.
