Release of ‘Childhood Regained 2.0’ by Hon’ble Ms Justice Indira Banerjee

    Children’s Day was celebrated at Hand in Hand India, at the Hand in Hand Academy for Social Entrepreneurship, Kaliyanur, Kancheepuram. The programme marked the launch of the book – Childhood Regained 2.0 – capturing the journey and strategies of the organisation to eradicate child labour and promote education, by Hon’ble Ms Justice Indira Banerjee, Chief Justice, Madras High Court.

   Hon’ble Ms Justice Indira Banerjee highlighted the importance of child rights, education and good value systems. She further emphasized the importance of gender equality by enumerating statistics and incidents from across the nation.

   Ms M.P. Nirmala IAS (Retd.), Chairperson, Tamil Nadu State Commission of Child Rights received the first copy of the book amidst Mr M Karunanidhi, District Judge, Combined Court, Kancheepuram, Mr Santosh Hathimani IPS, Superintendent of Police, Kancheepuram, Trustees of Hand in Hand India, staff and students.
