Child Sponsorship Progr...

To support underprivileged and poor children, Hand in Hand India runs a Child Sponsorship Programme. Local as well as international sponsors support children through a package that includes notebooks, monthly supply of food grains as well as basic healthcare for one year. It has been found that families headed by a single woman who is the lone bread winner of a large family, needs support to educate children below 20 years. Such families are selected, following certain guidelines laid for the same and the sponsored package is given to them. The families being eligible to receive the package as long as their children go to school, it serves as an incentive to help the children continue with their education. Currently, about 146 children benefit from this Sponsorship Programme. If you are interested in sponsoring a child, please send an e-mail to csp@hihseed.org .
