Solid Waste Management

Our Aim

In India, about 150,000 tonnes of waste is generated every day. Of the total municipal waste collected, on an average 94 per cent is dumped on land and only 5 per cent is composted.

Our Solid Waste Management or SWM intervention strives to facilitate local bodies to handle the garbage menace. One of the main focus areas of our SWM project is to substitute street collection of waste with a distinct waste collection process.
